Entering the Northside Hospital Campus
Directions from Atlanta:
Take GA 400 North to GA 20 (Exit 14). Turn right on GA 20, then take a right on Ronald Reagan Boulevard. At the first traffic light, make a right onto Northside Forsyth Drive. Go to the stop sign then straight across to the hospital. Everyone needs to park in the Northside Hospital’s Parking Deck. Buses will run on a continuous loop to transport you and all non-runners to and from each venue.
You are required to display your race number at all times while competing. This is for safety, fairness, and to make sure that the timers record your splits accurately.
During the run, your race number must be worn on the front of your body. This is especially important for the finish.
Post-Race:
Following the race, the awards ceremony will begin as soon as the results are posted (estimated for 10:30 a.m.). After the awards ceremony, the Lafarge Spring Fling will start. Exhibitors/Vendors will be around the finish line promoting their business. Please take time to visit with each of these businesses and see what they have to offer. Lafarge will have its mining equipment out and this is a great opportunity for all to learn about the quarry! At the same time, we will have a moonwalk for the kids, plus music and food.
Inclement weather
The event will not be cancelled for any reason other than severe conditions that pose extreme danger to athletes and volunteers.
We will have public restrooms at both Northside Hospital and Lafarge and will have off-duty deputies on site to help with traffic control.
