Proceeds from the Boulder Dash 5k will benefit the Forsyth County Parks Foundation. Forsyth County Parks Foundation, Inc. mission is to enhance the recreational, educational and cultural life of Forsyth County by encouraging and soliciting support for the county’s parks system.
The Forsyth County Parks Foundation, Inc., (FCPF) is a group of community members who believe that parks and recreation are of vital importance to our community. The Foundation recognizes that the demands for public funds and services are increasing at the same time that revenues are decreasing. They are committed to developing new sources of support for our park and recreation programs and facility developments.
FCPF support four main areas of interest within our parks and recreation department:
- Beautification
- Programs
- Projects
- Scholarships
